Award-winning creative & technology company based in Ahmedabad, delivering 900+ projects since 2015.

Monk Media One is a creative agency working across Gujarat from a studio in Ahmedabad. We make the things a brand puts in front of people — campaign creative, social and film content, packaging, print and environmental design — for businesses in Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Gandhinagar and Bhavnagar. Working with a creative agency inside Gujarat rather than in a metro changes two practical things. The first is access: we can be at your plant, your store or your site within a day, which matters more than it sounds when a shoot needs a recce or a packaging proof needs checking against the actual product. The second is context. Selling to a Gujarat audience is not the same as selling to a national one, and a campaign written in Mumbai for a Rajkot customer usually shows it.

Where we work

Our studio is in Ahmedabad, at Sun Gravitas on Shyamal Cross Road. Most engagements run remotely with scheduled in-person sessions — shoots, workshops, reviews and press checks. In practice that means a client in Surat or Rajkot gets the same team and the same turnaround as one down the road, with travel built into the schedule rather than treated as an exception.

  • Ahmedabad. Our base. Full production capability including shoots, workshops and press supervision.
  • Surat. Textiles, diamonds and a growing direct-to-consumer sector — categories where product photography and packaging carry most of the weight.
  • Vadodara. Manufacturing, chemicals and engineering clients, where the creative problem is usually making technical capability legible to a non-technical buyer.
  • Rajkot. Engineering and auto components, and family businesses moving from trade selling to brand selling.
  • Gandhinagar and Bhavnagar. Institutional, education and public-facing work.

What we make

Campaign and social creative

The continuous output a brand needs: campaign key visuals, social creatives sized for each platform, festival and seasonal work, and the variants a paid campaign needs in order to be tested properly. Volume is the part clients underestimate — a campaign needs fifteen assets, not one — so this usually runs as a retainer with an agreed monthly output.

Film and video content

Brand films, product videos, factory and process films, founder interviews, and short-form content for Instagram and YouTube. Shot by our own crew, which keeps cost and turnaround under control and means a two-day shoot can produce a year of content rather than a single film.

Packaging, print and environment

Packaging ranges, labels, catalogues, brochures, exhibition stands, signage and retail collateral. Print work is supervised through to the press check, because a colour that was right on screen and wrong on board is a cost nobody budgets for.

Language

Copy, subtitling, voiceover and packaging text in Gujarati, Hindi and English, written by writers in each language rather than translated by software. A headline that works in English often needs to be rewritten rather than translated to land the same way in Gujarati.

How we work with in-house teams

A good share of our creative work runs as an extension of a client team rather than as an outside supplier. The common shapes: a marketing manager with no design resource; a design team with no film capability; a business with plenty of execution but no one holding the strategic line. We fill the specific gap, work inside your calendar and approval process, and are available to whoever needs us rather than routing everything through a single account contact.

Practically, that means a shared channel for day-to-day work, a monthly planning session, and agreed turnaround times per asset type so nobody is guessing. Where you already have brand guidelines, we work to them. Where you do not, we will usually suggest fixing that first — it is cheaper than re-deciding the same questions on every job.

Our work

We work with manufacturing and industrial brands, real estate and hospitality, education, healthcare and consumer businesses across the state. Recent design and film work is on our portfolio site.

What it costs

Ongoing creative runs as a monthly retainer sized to an agreed volume of deliverables — so many social assets, so many films, so much design time — because creative demand is continuous and quoting each request separately wastes everyone's week.

Discrete work is quoted per project: a packaging range, a launch film, an annual report, an exhibition stand. Production costs that are genuinely pass-through — crew, talent, location, print — are quoted at cost and shown separately from our fee.

Travel within Gujarat for scheduled sessions is included in retainers. Ad-hoc travel is billed at cost.

Why Monk Media One

  • In the state, not visiting it. A studio in Ahmedabad and regular travel across Gujarat, rather than a metro agency treating the state as an outstation account.
  • Strategy attached to the output. We do brand strategy as well as execution, so the creative follows a position rather than a mood board.
  • Production in-house. Film, photography and design under one roof, which is what makes volume affordable.
  • Three languages, properly. Gujarati and Hindi handled by writers, not by a translation pass at the end.

Frequently asked questions

What makes a creative agency in Gujarat different from hiring one in Mumbai or Delhi?

Proximity and context. Being in the state means we can be at a factory in Rajkot or a store opening in Surat the same week, and it means we understand the market a Gujarat business is selling into — the languages customers actually use, the festivals that shape the retail calendar, and the difference between a family business modernising and a startup launching. It also usually costs less than a metro agency for comparable work.

Which cities in Gujarat do you work in?

Our studio is in Ahmedabad and we work regularly with clients in Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Gandhinagar and Bhavnagar. Most engagements run remotely with scheduled in-person sessions for shoots, workshops and reviews.

Do you produce creative in Gujarati and Hindi as well as English?

Yes. Campaign copy, video subtitling, voiceover and packaging text are regularly produced in Gujarati, Hindi and English. Translation is done by writers rather than software, because a literal translation of an English headline almost never carries the same weight.

Can you work as an extension of our in-house team?

That is how a good share of our creative work runs. Some clients have a marketing manager and no designers; others have designers and no strategist or film capability. We fill the specific gap and work inside your process and calendar rather than imposing ours.

How do you charge for ongoing creative work?

Usually a monthly retainer sized to an agreed volume of deliverables, because creative demand is continuous rather than one-off. Discrete pieces of work — a packaging range, an annual report, a launch film — are quoted as projects. Both are agreed in writing before work starts.

What industries do you have the most experience in?

Manufacturing and industrial brands, real estate and hospitality, education, healthcare, and consumer products moving into direct-to-consumer selling — which reflects the shape of business in Gujarat. We are candid when a category is new to us, and we price the extra research into the first engagement rather than hiding it.
